...before I hit the road for today. It's been an eventful one. Yaay, weekend. This weekend is pretty jammed - It's Erin's birthday in the coming week so we might celebrate early on Saturday. Sunday is my mom's birthday, so Crin and I will probably cook some food and take it to her house in Naperville.
Speaking of mom, she's doing better - the first round of chemo treatment is going on, and it's been working well. She's got the usual battery of side-effects, but she's hanging tough and keeping her chin-up. Next round is on April 4th. Please don't send her flowers, etc. Instead, donate what you were going to spend to the ACS.
Mom is being treated at NWH, and getting treatment at the Prentice Women's Hospital/Robert H. Lurie Center. But she's staying at home mostly, with occasional trips to the mall and walks around the park when it's warmer.
Dad has been - and I must emphasize this - super awesome; he's been so good at taking care of her. If you call them at home, make sure you tell him you appreciate what he's doing, because he's my hero.

Hey Sweetie ..... haven't heard from in a the longest of times. Caught a glimpse of someone who looked like you and immediately started missing ....
please send all my love to your mother and father. I think your dad's incredible too, it takes a lot of strength to be supportive and watch someone you love go through something like that. Anyways anything i can do at all tell .... you know I'd move mountains if possible.

D...I haven't been in touch with you since ages...but it was good to read your blog : ). 4 posts in 1 day. whoaa. I wonder if the momentum will keep up. I started a half-assed blog a year ago and haven't written anything more than the initial first few posts. shameful ! however in the past three weeks I have promised myself to start up another blog and be a regular. hmmmmm...promises...
